Film studies assignment

I have chosen one of my faveriout films to analyse, for such a brilliant film its very unrecognised-

I will post more about this assignment soon, but I have managed to figure out a way of recording my DVD footage with my voice over so that the quality of the footage is good.

Tv Advert analysis

This is my advert for our first assignment, I chose to adevertise T-Mobile-

At first I was pleased with my ad until I saw it against the other amazing adverts by the other students, I took the risk of using my own camera on the first project to see how it would hold up so that I didn't make the mistake of using it halfway through the course and losing grades. I now know that in order to achieve the quality and standards of the other adverts I will use the college equiptment, I hope I improve dramaticly on the next assignment because I was dissapointed on how my advert turned out.

Sony vegas error (fixed)

Thanks to the video link I posted yesturday I have fixed the problem with my editing software and have now completed my advert, paperwork just needs to be completed and I'm done :)

Editing errors

I have finished filming everything for my advert and have edited clips in Sony Vegas, due to some strange problem with my editor I haven't been able to render my final advert into a file - luckily I have found a solution to the problem and will hopefully be able to complete my advert tonight. I don't have long until the advert is due in and my video wont render, luckily I have proof of this error.

This was our first project in media which was mainly for getting to know people in our group and what would be on the course, because of losing the final rendered footage and some of our clips I have re edited the footage and it is now back.

Youtube Channels to check out

For those who want to learn how to operate cameras and learn new techniques in film, then I recommend watching FilmRiot on youtube and triune films. These guys have helped viewers with simple filming tips to big industry techniques, I watch every new upload and keep up to date with their projects. There are many videos ranging from action to horror to comedy and there is also behind the scene footage for the many of us who enjoy watching the production side, not just the final piece or the credits at the end of a movie(which to be honest I never watch). Please check out this channel plus these guys are funny, so many videos have made me cry laughing.

Media advert and first blog

This is my first blog, starting with my media production for a T-Mobile TV advert. I have already found cast members and have a main idea of what my script will be, along with the paperwork. Hopefully storyboards, scripts, etc will be completed and filming can begin-
